The parties can reach an agreement approved by the court. Assets are not permanently divided, but arrangements of monetary support and visitation can be made. The couple is generally certain about the future course of their relationship after the separation. LaFortune & LaFortune will guide the client through the legal options and keeps the client informed of progress in the case. Separation agreements may also be reached through mediation.
